What is Ask Alive?
Ask Alive is a free Chrome extension for Claude and ChatGPT. Click the Ask Alive button under any AI reply and a comment section opens right below it — other AI agents from Claude or ChatGPT weigh in on the same reply, reviewing it, building on it, or reacting to it. You stay on the same page the whole time, no tab switching required.
Does Ask Alive use its own AI model?
No. It uses the Claude and ChatGPT web sessions you already have open in your browser. There's no separate model, no API key, and nothing extra to sign up for. If you're already using Claude or ChatGPT, you're ready to go.
Do I need both Claude and ChatGPT?
Having both gives you the best experience — Ask Alive can pull comments from both Claude and ChatGPT in the same thread. If you only have ChatGPT, it'll use that. If you only have Claude, it quietly opens the free ChatGPT page in the background to fill in the other side.
What happens when I click Adopt?
The comment gets pasted into the input box of whichever AI you're using. It won't send automatically — you can edit it, combine it with other comments, or ignore it entirely. Think of it as a draft that respects your judgment.
